(WPG), a high-end Executive Protection (EP) company founded in 2001, Mr. Kent Moyer is a dedicated expert in the field of EP, Protective Intelligence, & Threat Management. With offices in Shanghai, Okinawa, Mexico City, and headquarters in Beverly Hills, WPG is a full-service, international firm specializing in Security Consulting, Executive Protection and Drone Security Operations. Its luxury arm, 001, provides a customized, comprehensive privacy security program for billionaires. 

Mr. Moyer is an alumnus of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, with advanced studies at the Bocconi School of Management in Milan, Italy, Ritz Carlton Leadership Center and HEC Paris University studying the strategic management of luxury businesses. He is also a graduate of the Executive Security Institute (ESI), where he received a degree in Criminal Justice.

The World Protection Group is the only security firm in the United States to have a 4 FAA Waivers (fly over people, night, beyond visual line of site, and below weather minimums) airspace authorizations for Los Angeles County and Las Vegas. WPG boasts a drone unit with 10 Executive Protection FAA Drone pilots, with a fleet of dozen high-performance drones. The drones are used in Executive Protection operations, Estate Protection, Risk Assessments, 2D & 3D mapping, search and rescue, Investigations, Intelligence, advances, & law enforcement operations support. 

Featured on shows like ABC Nightline News, EXTRA, and E!, as well as publications like LA Confidential, Profile Magazine, Forbes, Mother Jones and The Los Angeles Times, Mr. Moyer shares his distinctive knowledge and extensive background in the EP Industry, which first began when he started working for Mr. Hugh Hefner at the Playboy Mansion.

Following his time at the Playboy Mansion, Mr. Moyer secured a management position at Vance International. Mr. Moyer has accumulated over 2,000 hours of executive protection training.

Mr. Moyer commits to speaking engagements around the world, some of which included: Wharton West, Wharton So Cal Alumni Group, The Northern Cal Wharton Alumni Group, The Penn Club in NY, Shanghai Wharton Club, and The Hong Kong Wharton Club. 

Today, Mr. Moyer is an active member ASIS International, California Reserve Peace Officers Association, Professional Peace Officers Association, Association of Former Intelligence Officers (AFIO), and the International Association for Counterterrorism and Security Professionals.

In his free time, Mr. Moyer enjoys reading books, martial arts training, and flying airplanes and is an instrument rated pilot & drones.

Mr. Henthrorn is a longtime WPG partner who’s currently based in Asia providing security consultation for our Asian clients, including Japan, China, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan and the Philippines. A former law enforcement officer in the United States, Mr. Henthrone has extensive experience in executive protection and estate security for CEOs and high-net-worth families both in the US and internationally. He also worked as senior security consultant providing security combat support, training, and force protection for the US Army at various installations within Kuwait. In recent years, Mr. Henthrone worked for the U.S. State Department as a Watch Officer in the Baghdad Embassy Operations Center, advising Department of State Regional Security Officers with coordination of Regional Security Officers air, ground, and personnel response assets during emergencies, and coordinates the deployment of embassy assets for medical evacuation (MEDEVAC), K9 explosive alerts, suspicious packages, and white powder incidents and other crisis responses.
